I experienced 12 Stone

Last May to early June I kept hearing and reading about this music festival by 12 Stone Inc. over the radio and on the Internet. To my surprise, my friend and co-teammate Rommel covered their June 1 gig at Eastwood City. The said music festival are touring to Megaworld Lifestyle Malls. And the next mall to invade is Lucky Chinatown Mall. YES! Finally, near my place.

It was Friday, June 7. The show will start at 5PM and I have work until that time, no one can accompany me. Few days before, I asked my officemate to join me for FREE. The show is literally free, however to be able to meet and greet the artists you are required to buy their album just like any mall shows. Going back, YES, I will pay for our the transpo, meal (if permitted) just accompany me. His work schedule is until 6PM so we have to wait for it.

We arrived at the venue thirty minutes passed 6. The show has started, Absolute Play was performing their last song, their self-titled album is also available at the gate of the venue. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take any photo of them. Next performer is Ruth Legaspi (I can't find a social media page for here but I can show her photos).

After the performance of Ms. Legaspi, it was followed by none other than, Ms. Barbie Almalbis. She sang the crowd's favorite and classic soundtrack, Tabing Ilog.

Credits to owner.

Here are the photos of Barbie.

Next is Rocksteddy. The band has been in the industry for quite sometime but before they invade Philippine Music, they play for the church. My cousin even confirm it with me. The band promoted their album entitled, Instadramtic, with the carrier single, Sama Sama.

After they sang, Ms. Kitchie Nadal performed. She sang some of her songs from the previous album and promoted her new album, Malaya.

And for the finale, it was Save Me Hollywood. It was my first time to hear the name, but then, I liked their songs. Paramore inspired. :) Here are the photos:

The show was hosted by Ms. Margo Midwinter.

I had fun with this Music Festival. Even though it was raining we were able to enjoy the day.

Enjoy viewing.

Three years ago, Kamera at Kape used to be a photo blog for my Project 365 (you can see it in the previous posts). Project 365, as you all know is a collection of photos for a year or 365 days taken day by day.

Before I post anything, kindly read below:

This blog will be reformatted, yes it will still have photographs and may be videos too, but it will no longer be a day-to-day basis. I will share with you my recent photos and I hope you will find my them much to your liking.

A new Kamera at Kape, soon!

Ola! I know, over three years had passed and I stopped taking photos for my Project 365. Other maybe successfully executed theirs, unfortunately I was not.

Kamera at Kape will soon be back. You will still see of course, photos and I might add videos too!

If I remember correctly, the last photos I took was the 12 Stone Music Festival last July 7 at Lucky Chinatown Mall. And promise, for the next blog, I will feature the images from the Mall Tour.

Again, watch out for the new Kamera at Kape. :)
